The development and prototyping phase taught me how to design using real-world 3D scan data rather than creating geometry in CAD. Working from a high-resolution scan of my dental cast, I developed a range of grillz concepts around the digital model of my teeth.
Through an iterative design process, I refined multiple concepts before selecting four final designs for production as castable wax resin 3D prints. This project strengthened my skills in working with scanned geometry, digital modelling, and preparing designs for manufacturing.
